This authentic bass guitar was used during a powerful KISS performance and still bears the blood and sweat from Gene Simmons – the "Demon" in full force!

Gene Simmons describes his iconic Axe Bass as a true work of art, unmatched in its presence and legacy.
"I owe everything to the fans – they made my life possible," says Simmons. "When I was growing up, I could never get a piece of the Beatles – they were untouchable, but still Olympian to me. This Axe Bass is just as special and unique to me and the fans."

Now, you can own one of these legendary instruments. This particular bass was played live on June 6rd, 2013, during a KISS concert at the Sweden Rock Festival in Norje (Sölvesborg). Not only was it played on stage – it’s also visually striking, with artificial stage blood still visible in several areas. The amount of blood used during the performance makes this piece incredibly authentic – it doesn't get any better!

This bass was neither available in the shop nor could it be purchased at a meet and greet. This particular piece was a gift from Gene Simmons to the crew.
